I can't wait to see which of us has sharper perception. I was just the opposite of you, inclined to think there was something to the story until I heard him today. My impression has to do with his words, tone and attitude.

I hope you are right. I didn't listen to his show today, I'm going by the comments on the threads here on FR. I was expecting a blanket denial, not some non-denial. Like I wrote earlier, the whole story sounded phony to me initially with all the cigar boxes at Amoco junk, the enormous quantity of pills supposedly bought, etc. Plus, as several posters pointed out FR, Rush could simply go to a doctor and get the pills prescribed legally. It just made no sense for him to be a junkie going to a dealer.
Of course, since he didn't call the charges ridiculous today I'm having serious doubts.
