There are psychiatrists who prescribe opiates, including Vicodin, for mental health problems. They do so against the mandate of the drug administration, and at the risk of their licenses. But they also know that for some people in pain, opiates are the only solution.
It is also the reason that researchers continue to study the effects of opiates on mental conditions. There are ongoing studies as we speak, in fact, on the prospect of sanctioning opiates for treatment in OCD.
Incidentally, in a long thread such as this, with conversations flying back and forth, it is advisable to copy and paste the lines to which you're responding. Notice that each of my responses to you has included italicized excerpts from your posts? This makes it much easier for you and others to follow the discussion. It would be courteous of you to do the same. The main benefit, though, would be for yourself, because it will put your own response into the proper context, and thus strengthen your argument by allowing others to follow it more easily.
