Whether he knows or not is immaterial. It's obvious that he's been told to be quiet. Whether by his lawyer or investigators or someone else, in any event, it's not his place to tell everyone one way or the other at this point.
ESPECIALLY in a siutuation such as his when/where he's under a microscope. His critics are looking --no, desperately searching for any, ANY, crack, any flaw, any issue that they can exploit. If he denies, they begin saying he's hiding something. If he admits and apologizes --for even something as innocuous as breaking a mirror, he's painted as guilty for everything up to and including the kidnapping of the Lindbergh baby.
I understand that you want to know. Hell, everyone wants to know. But at this time, that is something that you do not need to know.
