The people who brought down the plane into the field in Pennsylvania (or was it Virginia? Sorry.) on 9/11 were the passengers.

If the government didn't fear of have contempt for the people, there would be no stupid rules like there are today for airline travel. (and many other things) If giving passengers guns won't do, why not a baseball bat with a big metal spike? With instructions "In case of hijacking, beat down hijacker." The vast majority of airline passengers are NOT the enemy. a good portion would readily beat down a terrorist. It is stupidity or contempt for the people that causes the government to treat able-bodied citizens like retarded children.
