what did he do? Advocate leftism.
What exactly was so awful, when and where did it happen, etc?
He's against the 2nd amendment, he's pro-abort, he's evasive at best on Ward Connerly's colorblind ballot proposal, he's unreliable on taxes('emergency', Warren Buffet, one of the new Bobby Kennedy's, Pete Wilson, for the children)
what is the charge?
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
As for this LA Slimes thing, don't know the details, but his policy isssues are the main problem. He's no different on issues than my loser governor, Jenny Granholm.

I don't really have to justify my tears or my fears.
Both are very real to me.
The threat imposed by Davis is more real to me
than yours are, I'm afraid.
Maybe some future cause will find us
on the same side.
As for treating women like trash, there are many posters on this very site, male and female alike,
who are less than charitable towards women.

Except the thread on DU went on to note that this was sarcasm. Yeah, eventually.

As I told my husband, if Arnold tried to pat my butt, I'd let him as I am sure these "accusers" did. What about me? What? oh, well.....

Since they already have the gallows constructed and the noose is tied, what is the charge?
The charge:
He's beating our also ran by huge numbers, you know the 'tock guy.... that's the charge.

A sane voice in the wild. Arnold will stay on the high road and emit progress and hope. The people are wise to smashmouth politics and the groping allegations have come and gone. I see backfire. There is no stopping this train...

If the allegations are true -- and it appears they are -- then the best thing for him to do is be up front about it and admit it. I personally don't care one way or another if he cheated on his wife, or played touchy-feely with some starlet; and I didn't care if Clintoon cheated on HIS wife (and had I been married to Hildabeast, the Ice Queen, I'd be running the herd, too). What DID offend me about the Toon's actions was his perjury, his subornation of perjury, his obstruction of justice, and his getting others to lie and cheat for him, as well; not to mention his apparent rape of Juanita Broderick and his obvious sexual assault on Kathleen Willie. If Arnold is guilty of those same actions, then I want to see him in jail. On the bright side, this may propel McClintock into the governor's mansion.
To: AmishDude
Admit to what? 20 years ago he felt some woman on the butt?
Half of the incidents referred to happened since 1990. They involved grabbing of breasts and trying to remove a swimsuit. That's a little more serious than you're making it seem...
To: Southflanknorthpawsis
What did Arnold do? When and where did he do it? To whom was it done? A desperate, transparent and rather pathetic ploy.
I suppose if the exact names, dates, times and places aren't public, you can rationalize your stance by saying it didn't happen. You'll just disregard the fact that Arnold himself admitted to the behavior.
If you choose to live in a fantasyworld, by all means go right ahead.

You're not nearly as cute as you think, Dan. What type of sexual harassment did he commit? Maybe you could try that one?
BTW, are you voting in this election all the way from Michigan?

It's ceratinly not "the best thing that could happen," but it's inevitable, if the GOP continues down the path of Canada's PC party.
And that's where we seem to be headed.

>>>RM......I'm going to just let your post slide and NO, I won't apologize. You call me a "nutcase" and I'm suppose sit around and not challenge your wild eyed rhetoric? Not so my dear. Not ever! And if my emotions are showing, I'm glad as hell. You people need to find a more suitable website. This is a conservative website and calling conservatives nutcases around here, is both inappropriate and outrageous. And you know it too.
>>>If you want to strain our friendship by your nasty posts, that is your choice.
There you go again. You're the one who has strained our friendship. Not me.
>>>If and when you want to be civil again, give me a ping.
Once you find the guts to apologize to me on the forum, then and only then will I consider us friends again.

I heard Arnold say "bad behavior that he considered playful at the time".
Nice try to avoid the obvious.
Once more. What did he do?
To: section9
That is what a lot of folks missed. It was a "pocketbook" election in two important aspects:
1. Grayout's mismanagement of California's pocketbook and the cover-up.
2. His attempt to make up for his mismanagement by picking the pockets of California taxpayers.
Nothing more than that. People who think they can impose a 180-degree turnaround are reaching way too far.

Why, in response to this story, did Arnold Schwarzenegger say... "Yes, it is true that I was on rowdy movie sets and I have done things that were not right which I thought then was playful but now I recognize that I offended people." "Those people that I have offended, I want to say to them I am deeply sorry about that and I apologize because that's not what I'm trying to do,"

You know, this all probably explains why Arnold is so anti-gun.
The man is probably just sick and tired of shooting himself in the foot with the damn things.

I didn't call YOU a nutcase, RM.
I refuse to be baited and by you and will stop communicating with you as of now.
I'd rather keep more pleasant memories. Bye.

So you're saying that he should have denied the allegations, even if they were true? The "allegations" are that he is guilty of sexual harrassment. If he is, that is a disqualifyer for office.
He "admits" to "insensitivity". To many thats just nomenclature for a more serious offense. And count on it, more charges are-a-comin'. True or not, he's already made an "admission". Now we're squabbling over the degree of "criminality". Personally, I think he's cooked.
