A father and son arrested Tuesday are suspected of having sex with two children - ages 3 and 4, Rapides Parish sheriff's detectives said.
The men were arrested in connection with unrelated cases.
Palmer Eugene Goff, 49, 118 Prairie View Road, Deville, faces charges of 48 counts of aggravated rape. His son, Shawn Goff, 20, of Deville was arrested on charges of six counts of aggravated rape.

Yeah, that confused me for a second as well. I think they meant that the two were already in jail for crimes unrelated to this complaint.

The headline said "Unrelated." Explain what you meant: that the sins of the father are visited on the son, perhaps?I mean this: if the son had had a different father, it is highly unlikely that he would have turned out the way he did.
