According to the above story, Rush's "ex-maid" claims that she, on her own, twice wore a wire to record conversations between herself and Rush Limbaugh regarding pills.
THAT IS ILLEGAL, my friends. One person cannot legally just hook herself up and "wear a wire" and record someone else for the purpose of having them arrested. A wiretap must be approved by a Judge.
If I am not mistaken, wearing a clandestine wire and recording someone for the purpose of extorting $ or whatever is a CRIME.
At the very least, it would never be admissible in court, and if I am not mistaken again, a police department that accepted such a recording absent of any other probable cause could find itself in trouble.
