This may be a big part of the reason that Rush quit ESPN.

This could do his radio program in as well if radio stations decide to drop it.

Don't kid yourself, this is a serious hit.

Get a grip..... If Rush was taking 100 pills a day he would sound like Ozzie Ozbourne

Yes it is if it is true.

I agree. If there's any substance to this at all, it could be a career-ender. It would have been a career enhancement if Rush was a leftist, but that's beside the point.

I agree, but knowing how forgiving the American People are (to a fault even), he can rehab his image and come back. But I agree, this is a big hit against Rush.

Think about it. Rush has lost 100+ lbs. over the last five years. If he had been doing speed he could have lost the weight but with pain killers he would be back up to 300+ lbs.

The involvement of the State's Attorneys Office and the potential tape and e mail trail, plus a cooperating witness could be devastating .This isn't just an embarrassing gossip story- Rush appears to be in enormous legal trouble. He could survive the ESPN mess, but,I don't see how he gets past this.

It's a serious hit indeed. Don't you think that his listeners would be loyal enough to Rush thus preventing advertisers from dropping their spots?
