Well, I was born and raised there, grew up reading the Manchester Union Leader daily LOL, and then ran off to sea... ended up out here in the Soviet of Washington with a family, old in-laws to take care of etc...
I'd love to come back sometime...

I grew up with the Union Leader too, when I was little I thought William Loeb was the Governor because my Grandfather(he lived in Littleton) talked about him so much. But I lived just over the border in, brace yourself, Mass!
I've been to the other side so thats how I can love this state so much. Good of you to take care of the older folks, so hard too, my mom in law lives with us. I love having her around to pass on her wisdom to my kids. Yesterrday at the dump I nagged the guy who worked there
(for "community service detail") to help the older folks out with their trash without being asked. Is that what you mean about being outspoken? I'm just a bleeding heart conservative.
