I got to attend the private reception prior to her speech!!! Got my picture taken with her. Got Treason and Slander signed, with a note to my liberal mother in law on my copy of Slander! I hate you! </envy>

A dress. Big deal. She was wearing a very mini skirt at UNC.

So, do you look good in a dress? Spagetti straps, or a nice flowered print?

Yes I am. But she is on my "list". LOL!
Actually, what I gave her was one of my business cards for my magic services. I do private and corporate parties and restaurant work. Never know, maybe she or a friend will want one for one of their cocktail parties.
A magic friend of mine did Melissa Joan Hart's birthday party. So celebrities do hire such entertainment from time to time.

Thanks.
You know, I'm at least twice her weight [I weigh abt. 240#].
However, she's almost my height, and I am 6'3"!
P.S. - If you're reading this, Ann, I STILL love you!

Do you two ever venture into the sun?I beg your pardon? We were closer to the flash than you were, hence the washed out look.
Even if we are a little more pale, at least we'll keep our youthful skin much longer :P

She really is incredibly thin. You know how they always say the camera adds 10 lbs? I believe it, she looks even thinner in person than she does on TV.

It's great to know Ann stopped for a few words with everyone. I was terribly disappointed by a well known Conservative whose book signing I went to. Not so much that he didn't personalize the book, but I didn't even get to make eye contact, or smile or anything, before being whisked off by the people at the store. Bill O'Reilly was nice at his book signing (the second one), like the way you describe Ann. Friendly, making eye contact, allowing photos, and having a brief word for everyone.
