I wonder if this thing with Rush was given so much press right now because: the media had to know that Rush would spend a great deal of time defending himself and his comment. And what ELSE is hitting the fan right now that needs Rush's defense on the national airways? The CIA/WH furor! Valuable time has been used by Rush today to defend himself rather than Bush.

Pills caused Rush to abandon the microphone during the middle hour of his show one day before he got the cochlear implant. Instead of Rush, we heard endless song parodies. Finally he returned, and said that the ear medications had overwhelmed him and he'd spent the hour puking.

I remember when he vowed to lose weight...he said he wouldn't go for any dramatic fast-weight-loss program, but instead his goal was to lose one ounce per week. A long-term plan.
