I wonder if Rush is going to make a statement tonight. One way or the other, this story is going to be whispered, even if it is false. He is off the air tomorrow. Too much time for false junk to get into people's heads.
Perhaps he should go to FOX or MSNBC and issue a statement of some sort. Hundreds of thousands of people are aware of this story now because of Drudge no matter it's veracity.
I don't disagree with you and i am dismayed that this story has come to light. I find it hard to believe that Rush is a drug abuser...Obviously he has no financial incentive to become a dealer of prescription drugs. One has to wonder why a wire was put on him? Even if they were for his own legitimate use why would the police get involved in this "personal use" issue (if that is even the case).
However, if there is indeed something to the story are you still dismayed that Drudge posted it?
