This refers to the Iraqi nuclear weapons program prior to the FIRST Gulf War. All well known, and not in dispute.

Yes, but of course Iraq had a major deception program going on while it was incumbent on Saddam to prove that he had ended his prove that he disarmed.

The UN authorized "Serious Consequences" because he proved no such thing, based on the logical assumption that he was up to the same activities.

On this note, I thought it interesting to show that Saddam *previously* had been importing the goods *for* yellowcake; in that light, his continuance of that is definately within reason.
