Have you noticed that none of the Arnold people are coming here? They would rather keep their rose-colored blinders on and not see the truth.

It makes me sick. They all make me sick. I haven't been on FR much lately because I can't stand reading the outright lies and their compliance with the destruction of the Republican Party in California.

My husband never wanted to leave California. For the first time, we're seriously discussing it.

Why do they make you sick? Because they wish to finally win an election and have a chance to save California from socialist implosion? People are thinking about their taxes, their energy bills, their jobs, their kid's futures. That's why so many of them are supporting Arnold. You're judging them because they're scared to death of what continued Democrat control of their state will do to their families. Is that fair? This is an election for governor, not for pope. People shouldn't be condemned for recognizing that fact.

Here, try this one - it's an editorial from National Review recommending a vote for Arnold. It makes no bones of the fact that McClintock is closer to what they'd like, but it also accepts the reality that Bustamante would be worse than Davis. If you'd like to read it, it's here, National Review

I'm in a similar boat. I'd prefer McClintock to Arnold. But I'd prefer Arnold to Davis, and I'd prefer Davis to Bustamente. Even with Bustamente falling in the polls, I consider it too much of a risk to split the conservative vote, so I'm going for Arnold.

For what it's worth, a few days ago I was still planning to vote No on the recall - now that I think Bustamente won't get in, I'll vote Yes. But I'm not confident enough to vote for McClintock.

Yup. That's why I bumped this thread so many times.
They don't like this thread.
