[Doctor Notes]

I cut the head off of a 2 1/2 foot Water Mocassin about 10 feet from the back steps yesterday. The cat was eyeballin him, but saw those pretty fangs and chickened out. My brush hook wasn't scared though! I don't think anyone in Mississippi cares if you kill a snake.

We don't care here in Tennessee either (other than the wildlife folks). My brother from California was horrified that I killed rattlers. He said they were endangered (on my place, they sure are) and I should let them live. I can't understand why he didn't want me to send them to him!
