A dedication to technological advancement is something I do admire, and I do think we should set ambitious goals--but remember, the way to advance technology is to be scientific, not to talk garbage trying to get elected. I'm pretty sure Clark's statements had no scientific basis whatsoever; in fact, he admitted it himself when he called it his "only faith-based initiative."
