Then you don't read very much.

Please educate me ... which Christian denomination admonishes its followers over who they vote for and/or threatens excommunication ?

I'm sure that few,if any of us agree 100% with President Bush, or anyother president, for that matter. No politicain is ever going to give his/her supporters 100%, nor even 80% of what they want. But, at least you're going to vote for him again, which is NOT the case for many of Tom's most ardent supporters, no matter where they live.

You would be wrong. The last time I checked Bush was still Pro-Life, Pro-America. The only thing I fault him for is not being Pro-small government. When he looses his pro-life stance and becomes willing to give us over to the UN I will change my mind on Bush. My morals would not let me vote for Arnold but will let me vote for Bush. I have never yet seen a strong pro-choice Republican, they always cave and vote with the dims on moral and economic issues, you might as well vote for the real thing in that case. They don't call them Rhinos for nothing.

The whinning about the conservative Christians not voting for Arnold is rediculous. If the Republican party wanted that vote they would put up people they could vote for not whine when they refuse to budge. Without Tom in the race I would sit this one out for the first time in my life and not vote if I lived in California. It does not, as of this minute corespond to not voting for Bush, besides the only ones I see saying that they refuse to vote for Bush this time around are libertarians who are not likely to vote for Tom anyway.

I have started staying away from the California threads because of comments like yours. If the Republican party wants the conservative Christian vote they will put up people they can vote for, otherwise they need to draw enough people from the left to cover for the loss, because those people would rather not vote than vote for the lesser of evils, because in their minds it is still evil.
