Pure Rove bashing is even more accurate. Wilson was just on Fox and Friends. Even though he's backed down from his accusation against Rove, he said that an independent investigator should be appointed because Ashcroft is too close to Rove.
BTW, Steve asked Wilson if he has contributed to any presidential candidate. Wilson answered that he has contributed to two of them. Steve asked, "Is John Kerry one of them?" Wilson said yes. Steve asked, "Did you contribute $1,000 to Kerry's campaign"? Wilson said that actually it was $2,000.
They did give him a pass on his lie about not believing Saddam had WMD and before the war claiming that he was worried that Saddam would use his WMD against our troops.
