What I find amusing about the whole story and what I have seen in Kaiserslautern in five years....is that the educational system actually knows that they have a serious problem. My son's school got a visit from the cops 2 years ago....they had uncovered a relationship between a male teacher and at least one male student under the age of 14. They immedately put the teacher on suspended leave and basically kept the whole thing under wraps....not wanting to advertise anything. Most people think that this whole thing had been going on for years and that the school had always looked the other way when suspicion came up.
