Schnitt To Roll Off Radio? (ATTN: Luis Gonzalez)
Self | September 29, 2003 | PJ-Comix

Posted on 09/29/2003 1:12:04 PM PDT by PJ-Comix

Possible good news for South Florida radio listeners! Todd Schnitt was just on WIOD radio crybabying about how the management didn't offer him very much money when he tried to renegotiate his contract. Schnitt actually bragged about being #4 or 5 in this market. Maybe the WIOD management find Schnitt to be as boring as the rest of us find him. Anyway, this might mean Sayonara Schnitt in South Florida. HOORAY!!!

They will need somebody to replace that piece of Schnitt. Therefore I recommend that Luis Gonzalez get in touch with WIOD Radio. And if you do get on the air, Luis, please incorporate into part of your show stuff that is happening on the Web. That would be interesting.

South Florida has the worst afternoon talk radio following Rush. Al Rantel was good but he split for the Left Coast.

Schnitt is the perfected complete combination of boorish and boring.

He's not a complete fool, because you can tell he knows when he's in over his head (almost any subject,) but it doesn't stop hime from throwing darts to choose his opinion and then let us know as if we cared!

I have had him on for background noise, but now I typically turn it off as soon as I hear the "catchy" show-tune intro.

Ever since Phil Hendrie left WIOD (mid 96?), they have been totally downhill.

He replaced Glenn Beck's afternoon show in Tampa after Beck went national and took the AM slot before Rush's early afternoon show.

I quit listening shortly after his program aired. Just didn't keep my interest.

HELLO,
Let me start by introducing my self to you.
My name is Mustapha Kure.
I am the chief accountant in the bill/exchange & Foreign
Operations Department of UNION BANK OF NIGERIA.
I am contacting you following the impressive information i got about you
through someone i met briefly in the course of my
official duty,
In my department we discovered an abandoned sum of
$18.5million dollars (eighteen million five hundred
thousand United States Dollars) in an account that
belongs to one of our foreign customers late DR D. VULYSTEKE an Oil
Merchant/Contractor with the Federal Government of
Nigeria, who died
along side with his entire family in November 1998 Kenyan Airways plane
crash.
Flight KQ431 (A310-300)
Since we got information about his death, My Bank has
been expecting someone to come over to make a claim as his next of kin.Since
then no one has shown up for a claim,But
We cannot release this fund
unless somebody applies for it as next of kin or relation to
the deceased as indicated in our banking guidelines.
Unfortunately we discoverd after proper investigetions that all his supposed
next of
kin or relations died along with him at the plane
crash leaving nobody with the knowledge of this fund
behind for the claim. It is therefore upon this discovery
that I and two other officials in the bank now
decided to make business proposal to you.We want to release the
money to you on trust as the next of kin or relation of the
deceased for safety and subsequent
disbursement since nobody is coming for it and we
don't want this money to go back into Federal
Government account as unclaimed bill. All documents and proofs to
enable you get this fund as next of kin to Late DR D. VULYSTEKE will be
carefully worked out by an attorney, that will give this transaction the legal backing required,All the original
document are intact in my department so this transaction is 100% risk free for you.
The banking law and guidelines here stipulates that
such money remained after six years the money will be
transferred into banking treasury as unclaimed fund .
The request of a foreigner as next of kin in this
business is because of the fact that the customer
was a foreigner and a Nigerian cannot stand as next of
kin to a foreigner. We agreed that 30% (unnegotiable)
of this money will be for you as foreign partner.
Therefore me and my colleagues will visit your
country for the disbursement according to the
percentages indicated. Please be honest to me.
Therefore to enable the immediate transfer of the fund
to you as arranged you must apply first to the bank as
next of kin of the deceased. Upon receipt of your
response I will send to you a copy of the application form with the full name of the
deceased and his country and
other information about him. Note this transaction is highly confidential.
As soon as you receive this mail you should contact me
through my confidential e-mail address
"mmkure@sify.com".
Best Regards
Mustapha Kure

Schnitt once actually spent two hours talking about the winner of a big lottery. Talk about boring! But Schnitt just couldn't get off the subject. Oh, and Schnitt often compares himself to Rush. One big difference, Schnitt. Rush is INTERESTING.

Hey PJ!

I'm not ignoring you here, I'm on vacation mode.

I'm leaving for sunny California in a day or so.

I took Schnitt on a couple of times on some issues, and he just sort of hung up on me.

I've got a feeling that Schnitt's job will be open VERY SOON. Isn't WIOD radio located in Margate? I would recommend that you check into the possibility of replacing him.

BTW, if you know how to skin dive and spearfish, there are some EXCELLENT dive sites in Malibu (just north of the Malibu Colony) in the kelp beds. Lots of rock fish and calico bass. All you need is a wet suit, dive bag, and speargun (plus fishing license). One of the few things I liked about SoCal when I lived there.
