Not let's discuss the role of the Democratic party in eviscerating the CIA - Admiral Turner, the Church witchhunt and the ohsogloriouslyBrainDead Torricelli amendment - the latter helping paralyse the Agency, not to mention Anthony Lake's desire to put Bob Baer on trial for murder.

Huh, No takers?

Has anyone emailed Brit Hume, Tony Snow, et. al about this? Someone needs to alert these folks about this.

BTW, someone ought to send this to Rush. I don't think he's heard this yet, and he's been talking about this subject for quite a bit of his show.

LOL.. the educated ones are counting on this.

LOL too too too funny

maybe we have less jobs, maybe things are not as well as they were a few years ago in the job market, but I am just having so much fun watching these liberals step all over themselves with each little itty bitty story.

Does it get any better?

Ask Novak who gave him her name, then shoot the SOB or DOB! End of story!

***Sigh***...Novak DID NOT say that administration officials outed her...from one of my previous posts, something I found on a blog:

The core of the mini-scandal is the charge that "two senior administration officials" told Novak, a famous conservative political columnist and commentator, Valerie Plame's identity as an undercover CIA agent to him. But that is not what Novak wrote. You see, I'm not just a reader of the news, I'm a journalist with a very inquisitive mind - and an Internet connection. And I've got Google. So I did what those Lefty bloggers apparently didn't do before swallowing Corn's version hook, line and sinker. I Googled and found Novak's article. Here is what it says, verbatim, and in its entirety, about Valerie Plame:

Wilson never worked for the CIA, but his wife, Valerie Plame, is an agency operative on weapons of mass destruction. Two senior administration officials told me his wife suggested sending Wilson to Niger to investigate the Italian report. The CIA says its counter-proliferation officials selected Wilson and asked his wife to contact him. "I will not answer any question about my wife," Wilson told me.
Novak did NOT say "senior administration officials" revealed her identity. Novak simply states her identity.

Source

And her name can be found in Wilson's bio, it is no big secret. Another article you might want to read is:Spy Games: Was it really a secret that Joe Wilson's wife worked for the CIA?

Nothing against you, tal, but I must ask the mod if they really want this thread under Breaking News.

I started one on Wilson that got smacked down:

Joseph Wilson on C-SPAN at 7:45am Eastern, Monday

"Okay, now, is this the same guy who went to Niger for 8 days, hung around sipping tea with his buddies, and then came back and said, "There's no evidence that Saddam tried to buy uranium from Niger"?"

But he didn't get carried away with that moment, oh, certainly not, that's for sure.

You may be right. What is clear is that Novak (no Washington rookie) revealed the information and stands by it with not a shred of remorse. And he was against the war.

I suppose Wilson could be the leak. But I think he ticked off the brass at Langley and they approved the outing. As I posted before, disclosure of covert assets is allowed if approved by the Director (publicly or not).

he is the ambassador who came out against the uranium from Niger statement in the SOTU.

Hm. Well. Maybe he was just "carried away by the spirit of the moment" then too.

Next his jack ass will turn back 180 degrees and say he denied Rove's involvement because Rove threatened him and he was afraid.

"Gee, I wonder if he was the right guy for the job."

Ask his wife, she's the one who set the trip up for him.

Did his undercover wife tell him this or did he find out by asking his Niger counterpart?

This guy is a nut.

This whole issue has exploded like a dung bomb in Schumer's lap in ONE DAY! Wilson has been shown to be a vicious partisan, his allegations are crap, he lied about Rove, and his credibility is all Chuck Schumer has to go on. Now we hear that there may not even be a crime because Wilson's wife man not be an undercover operative. If she is not, no law was broken, as far as I can see. Add to that the fact that it was not Novak that first publically mentioned her name, and you have a case as solid as a sugar cube in a rainstorm. If Schumer is even slightly savvy, he will cancel his afternoon press conference, and avoid making a pluperfect Ass of himself in front of the media. I have mny doubts that he will cancel it. But, if the shoe (Schumer) fits, well... wear it!

Quite dumb,I imagine. But as a member of the Liberal Elite, his stupidity won't be pointed out by the media the'll just give us the unfiltered rant, then fill in any blanks he left. This story is media driven by,just like the"sixteen words",and it doesn't appear to have any more legs than that one.
