DD, if the rumors floating around are confirmed (and worse than expected), the GOP could be tarred with advocating a racist candidate. They will NEVER live that one down. It will reinforce every suspicion blacks and Hispanics have about this party.

For the past few weeks I've thought the slime on Arnold will be sex-related. While I wouldn't be surprised to see a rape allegation surface, I'm betting the dirt will show a white supremacist connection. I did some reading last night. Arnold socializes with Kurt Waldheim and has been filmed on camera saying he admires Hitler. My guess is that we will see pictures or the film by the end of the week.

Agrred. Endorsing Arnold at this time, knowing full well the Dems will spring an October surprise, is a very bad move for the GOP. Personally, I don't think the GOP should endorse anyone in this election.

How certain are we about the rumors? We really need to find links before speculating about the Hitler admiration further...for if true, this could be the expected disaster we knew was coming...

The Waldheim connection is well known from years ago. Is that news to you?

I can just imagine what your were reading that claimed Schwarzenegger said he admires Hitler. It seems to me this was already raised and struck down as the lie it is.
