Here's the problem I have. I know Wilson is a partisan hack. I don't REALLY know anything at all about Wilson's wife except what was in the Novac column. In it he called her a, "Senior CIA official working on issues of Weapons of Mass Destruction"

Now I'm paraphrasing because I don't have the link. But, what I'm trying to say is that if she is indeed a senior operative who was running some sort of network then this is a very, very, very, bad thing. I just don't condone the thoughtline that some have where they say, "She was a liberal, and a bad operative, she deserved to be outed." Basically that would mean "she deserves to be put at risk." I don't like liberals, but they're Americans too. I hated Clinton for being dishonest and screwing around like he did. I won't condone bad (possibly criminal) behavior just because I don't like the left. That's hypocritical.

No one, except Justice and the Press, know exactly who this Plame woman really is. When that is revealed, I'll have a better idea of what I think. As for now, I'm just confused.

I think that you're misunderstanding me. I agree if if this happened as has been claimed, then it is a bad thing, but my points are:

1. The assumption by the media is that it is the Bush admin who did the leaking. There is no credible reason to believe that. In fact, just the opposite.

2. Wilson has the motive and the smarmy affiliations with leftist groups to be involved himself in trying to set this administration up with these claims.

I just don't see how anyone can jump from what's known to Karl Rove is guilty of anything without jumping to a huge conclusion.
