The leak had to come from somewhere, and according to the horses mouth it was from administration officials. Somebody crossed the line here, whoever it was deserves to go away for a long time.

Q: Why would Karl Rove know anything about individual CIA agents? Does his position entitle him to that kind of information?
To: steve50
Did you not read the article -- Wilson now admits he doesn't know if it was Rove or not. Don't you see the Clinton DemocRAT agenda at play?
This bashing of Karl Rove is over the top -- does he scrare the RATs that much that they have to attack him.
Why are you so quick to believe the Wash Post and someone like Wilson with an ax to grind. Could it be that it fits your own agenda?
BTW, Wilson named his wife on his own biography!

Novak should have known better. In the end, he will be forced to spill the beans. Better sooner than later. Get it over with Bob. Time to move on. Nothing to see here.
Shut your windows and lock you doors.

It has to be seen as puzzling that the agency would deal with an inquiry from the White House on a sensitive national-security matter by sending a retired, Bush-bashing diplomat with no investigative experience. Or didn't the CIA bother to look into Mr. Wilson's background? Thanks for the link to that article

"Exposing CIA agents was termed treason under the first Bush." And it was considered great sport by the Church Committee back in the 70s when they got a bunch of agents killed. I agree --- fry who ever did this, but don't think for a split second that the Rats give a damn about protecting agents or our national security. This is all about politics to them.

Yep - just the way Lawrence Walsh did.
Walsh was the first "out of control independent counsel."

Good catch, Phi Kap Mom. There are those who would prefer to believe the Rats and anonymous newspaper sources than Bush, Rice, Powell, Rove, etc.
Their agenda is clear and considering the National Review wrote an article entitled something like "Everyone knew", it's fairly clear to me it's most likely a Rat operative who called the newspapers.
That anyone would believe Novak about anything is astounding to me.

Exposing CIA agents was termed treason under the first Bush. If this story turns out true Rove needs a cell beside Pollard for the next 20 years.Actually, the most likely candidate for the leaker is Joseph Wilson, the agent's husband.

He horse's mouth? Don't you mean the horse's ass who has been blatantly out to get President Bush all along? No, this administration is too smart and too honest to set themselves up for something like this.

And Moveon.org is supported by the Commies of America .. more to think about eh? Yes, that alone discredits him. That's before you take into consideration the public statements made by Wilson before he ever went to Niger to ask officials, "Saddam hasn't tried to buy any yellow cake, has he?"
