In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....
Subbie Slip is watching you. She has a large telescope with her today. She will be yanking you out of class and into the Janitors closet if you are evil, and then maybe sending you off to the Principals office to refresh your memory on the usage of his learning stick. And, yes, the paddle has those wondrous holes in them.
flatulence noun:
Pronunciation: flatu-lens Etymology: Flatus Latin a blowing
Excessive gas in the stomach and intestines.
Good Morning Class. Welcome to School!
Now, Vast and xsmommy, play nicely in here today with all the other students! Flurry, you behave yourself, otherwise Nurse Helga will take care of your flatulence in a not so nice way.
I heard Principal Robinson is roaming the halls today, so all of you students be on your best behavior.
You must use the WFTD in a sentence for an A. For a + after your A, you must bring in a link of the word usage or something funny, a poem or some prose that will elucidate the word for us.
If you need to know how to link, come to the Subbies desk in the front of the class.

I think she's smirking because she knows that goofball is trying to look down her top.
So are you happy about the Texans last 6 seconds and sad about the 'stros starting the offseason? Those guys must've trained at Lambeau, the way they flew up into the stands.

ROFLMAO! Laura is thinking if she looks at him, she is either going to slap him silly, or barf. She's making a face like he smells bad (maybe he does).

BWAAAAAAAHAAAAA! That is so stupid it is hilarious! Now the landlord will probably be cited by the city of Austin for not controlling insects in a commercial building. Good-I hope the fines are astronomical. Let's see if she can get PETA or the ants to help her pay them... Maybe the former tenant has a cause of action for a really good law suit that would make this space cadet landlord a laughingstock all over the state.

Is that a Bichon Frise? Not a lot of Texans have those-even women here have more macho dogs. Now I halfway understand why she's as crazy as a s**thouse rat-peroxide has seeped into her brain! Color coordinated is right-blonde jokes, anyone?

if you look closely, you can see the former xspup's teeth marks on the legs and spokes of that kitchen chair.

I'd have to get white and gray highlights. Boring and they would clash with red. I saw a woman old enough to know better at the supermarket yesterday with hair the color of mine who had a short, dyke type haircut with a wide, white streak bleached right down the middle, front to back. She looked like a skunk. I had to hurry past her before I started laughing.

That is a pretty russet brown your pup is wearing.
