one of the side effects of nafta is that the farm support program that the US spends on farmers that tends to benefit the large agribusinesses to the tune of billions of dollars annually has the effect of undercutting mexcan farmers by about 20-30 cents a bushel. the small mexican farmers are being driven out of business.(the farms of the great plains did the same thing to US eastern farmers in the first half of the 20th century) guess where the mexican farmers go?

so the us tax payer winds up supporting both agribusiness and the public services required by the illegals. (while the illegals ship their surplus dollars to Mexico--to the tune now of 15 billion annually.)

someone is not thinking clearly in American interests.
