Why would the CIA maintain an "undercover" agent who was the spouse of a federal official already tasked with information gathering? It just sounds fishy, like some police chief having his wife being a NARC. If everyone knows that she's his wife, what kind of information do they expect to get? Or is this just some double dipping into the Fed payroll?

Hey, that's a very good question. I have no idea. Like I said before, I don't think anyone knows what she was doing. I'm doing some research on this right now and came across the Novac article where he identified her as a CIA official working with Weapons of Mass Destruction. So perhaps everyone knew her, but no one knew what she did?

To be honest, I'm a little confused by the whole thing.
