I am truly astonished--nay, astounded--to actually hear some Freepers say that they would rather have Busty as Governor than Arnold.

I can greatly sympathize with those who will vote for Tom McC, even knowing that he probably will lose, but to say that Busty would better as Governor than Arnold passes my ability to comprehend.

That's because you missed the primary/election season, on FR, in 2000. There are CINOS here, who call everyone else RINOS and don't even understand the term. The extreme right/political naifs, revel in misery. Of course, they keep saying that there'll be " a revolution ", should every elected office (or even most of them ) is held by Dems. They're children, delusional, or worse. And...they do NOT belong here.

Just you wait, the Bushbashing is just getting up a head of steam and should fully explode next year. These same people do not, I repeat... NOT ...really want even 1/2 of what they claim to. It's ALL or NOTHING for them and are satisfied with NOTHING.

Important distinction. It would be better for Boosty to win the Govenorship than for Schwarzenegger to win it.

There is a difference between that and what you paraphrased and I have always tried to state it in this manner.
