Let's even assume that all you wrote in your post about Arnold was true [which many Freepers do vehemently deny]:

the question still remains: can you honesty say that CALIFORNIA would be better off with Busty as governor than Arnold. All your answers only indicate that it might be worse for the conservative or even republicans, but you have not answered the question:

Can you honestly say that CALIFORNIA would be better off with Busty as governor than Arnold?

he's more conservative than Bustamante.

I don't believe so.

Please delineate where or how he is more conservative than Bustamante.

Not in the C of C poll.... there's has been steady at the 52/3 number with 41 opposing.... 6% undecided....

Some campaign polls that have been leaked claim a higher number I believe....

Definitely. But, more so the nation and our society.

California won't be much different whether any of the three win.

But the ripple effect of having a non conservative who also advocates many left positions become Governor of the largest state of the union immediately begins the marginalization of conservative right pro-famil;y party emmebrs and candidates.

One OBVIOUS way in which Arnold is more conservative than Busty is that Busty has promised to raise taxes. Arnold has said that he would ONLY raise taxes in the event of an emergency such as a 9/11 type attack.

Arnold fully intends to reform the business climate of the state, dealing with the high costs of doing business in that state. That is a conservative principle that Busty has not endorsed.

There are plenty more, but do you REALLY care about the truth about what Arnold says, has done, etc. or not?

You haven't the scintilla of a clue, just what Arnold would or would NOT do.?

Strange argument in support of a candidate: no one knows what he will do.

McClintock supporters will be in turmoil between now and the end.

I am not a McClintock supporter and have been critical of him as well.

I will be a McClintock voter and in that respect I do support him.

If Schwarzenegger wins you will understand later what I've been saying. It will be too late by then.

What will McClintock do? He has already conceded he will do nothing about the "social" issues so near and dear to his disciple’s hearts. I think your messiah may have a bad case of clay feet.

For starters, Arnold isn't set to give California back to Mexico. :-)

Okay, you think he is. Well, Arnold is PRO business, Cruz isn't. Is that more substantive ?

Let me put it to you this way ... Rudy Giulliani is not all that much of a Conservative. Still and all, he made N.Y.C. a different world, than the N.Y.C. of David Dinkins. That can happen to California too, under Arnold.

Would you rather get a bit of something you want or NOTHING ? If " nothing " is your answer, then just forget about politics, completely, because you aren't any help at all and don't understand what's what.

Um, if you are a McClintock voter, how is that not also a McClintock supporter?

Some of the McClintock supporters here (the "come hell or high water" crowd) seem to think Arnold Schwarzenegger is the devil himself. The fear of him over Bustamante or Davis is an amazing thing to see.

Do you support benefits for "domestic partners?"

Do you support prop 54?

Do you support a voucher or related program to allow parents to use their already paid tax dollars to help defray costs to send their children to a private school?

You don't care about getting President Bush re-elected, now do you ?

Arnold, as Governor of Claifornia, can and probably shall get some, who would NEVER vote for W, to do so; or at least to think about doing so. With Cruz elected ? Are you kidding ?

California AND the nation will be better off, with Cruz elected ? In what universe ? Please, please, PLEASE take off those blinkers, you're only making yourself look foolish.

Tom went from 12% to 17% since the Chamber of Commerce's last poll on Sept 1-4.

At this rate, Tom will catch up with Arnold by around November 27th.

I'm in Pennsylvania and I have no dog in your fight.

But why is it that California needs a new Governor?

Why not just secede from the U.S.?

Maybe Vincente Fox will take you in.

Hopefully before you slide into the sea.

Just kidding. Arnold is your best hope for salvation, IMHO.

No, it is NOT a strange argument at all. What it does, is show up YOUR delusional posts; just as the last one did. You reinforce your biased, blinkered position and lose even more credability...if that's possible. LOL
