Daily Thread: Illegal Alien Freedom Ride Counter Protest

I am not a proponent of skinheads or neo-nazi groups, but it is now possible to understand some of what they have been saying for years, in light of what uncontrolled immigration can, will, and has done to our society.

I pretty much feel the same way. I have to wonder if these people JustPiper was descibing were really white supremist or a group like we have here in St. Louis called the Council of Coservative Citizens which is basically a "Whites Right" group. The C of CC has organized a counter-protest today here in St. Louis. After going to their web site I can see I agree with then on about 90% of the issues. Once race is brought up, well, you become a racist just for agreeing with them on issues like the 2nd Admendment, defending our borders, abortion, etc.

All this week at work, I tried to encourage some of my fellow union brothers who speak out against illegals to come down to the counter-protest since some of our dues has gone into sponsoring this "Illegal Ride". They just want to mouth-off but not get envolved. I'm not sure if I want to go to this event by myself.

California will be pushing the law about health care stating it is a federal responsibility because the federal governmesnt failed to secure the borders.

The whole countries taxes, fees and insurance rates have increased and will probably increase more to pay for votes.

Tis a sad day in America.

The only thing keeping illegals' labor costs low is the fear of deportation. If they are given the slightest cover of legality, their wages will go up to the norm. Then there will be no advantage to having them here AT ALL... but it will be too late -- they will be here taking jobs from US citizens at HIGH rates instead of low ones (there goes that excuse) and getting welfare for their families.

In fact, it probably already is too late.

The fawning press coverage of this disgusting event is just too depressing.

The suggestion came up to have a massive bus ride of our own, how can we organize this?

He even said that a guy from the International was pestering him and other Locals here in Missouri to each kick in $500.00 to this event to house these radicals. Our president said "no thanks" to this bozo.
