*L* What a great picture, I don't even follow baseball enough to have a favorite team but I can't help but cheer on the Cubs, the ultimate underdogs.
One of my husband's shipmates is from Chicago, loves ALL the Chicago sports teams and as my husband put it, 'we can't get him to shut up now' *LOL* They leave soon for 6 month deployment so it looks like I'll be emailing them updates on the upcoming series.

We sat down and were eating lunch when Jack Brickhouse and Vince Lloyd came over and joined us.You lucky duck!!!
I was with my college roomate eating dinner at a resturant in Michigan City one night and a guy walked in who looked exactly liked Jack Brickhouse.
She went wild, asked for his autograph and he signed a napkin "Jack Brickhouse". I cornered him later and asked are you really Jack Brickhouse? He said no, but I've never told my friend.
Til this day she is still ecstactic she has Jack's signature. I don't have the heart to tell her different.

Don't forget Jim Hickman. Who was about the only Cub whod didn't fold in 69. He carried the Cubs at the end, and all through 1970.
