I believe they have a choice of coming home or going to Germany for two weeks and I believe the first rotations have started.

My hubby called the other night...he is going to take his 2 week leave in Nov..he will call in the next few days to give me a date....he's giving the holidays to the troopers who have young children....they can only have 10% of their strength gone at one time.

The troops in theater have been getting short R&R's before this, so this isn't actually the first R&R's for these guys. This is just the first to get to return stateside.
