Not really.
But one might need to learn the GREAT TRUTH that
IT'S MORE BLESSED TO GIVE THAN RECEIVE
and practice it for some weeks to months, first.
Sooner or later, one should start reaping.
Of course, there are a lot of selfish men who have been happy to receive neck, shoulder, back, feet rubs from their wives with hardly a thank you, much less reciprocity. I think they should be dumped somewhere unpleasant until they come to their jerky senses enough to give more than they get for a long time, first.
But that's another subject.
Hand massages are a good place to begin, too. Low threat, low risk, low stress--a lot of feel good.

Marty wakes up at home with a huge hangover. He forces himself to open his eyes, and the first thing he sees is a couple of aspirins and a glass of water on the side table. He sits down and sees his clothing in front of him, all clean and pressed. Marty looks around the room and sees that it is in a perfect order, spotless, clean. So's the rest of the house. He takes the aspirins and notices a note on the table "Honey, breakfast is on the stove, I left early to go shopping. Love you."
So he goes to the kitchen and sure enough there is a hot breakfast and the morning newspaper. His son is also at the table, eating. Marty asks, "Son, what happened last night?"
His son says, "Well, you came home after 3 A.M., drunk and delirious. Broke some furniture, puked in the hallway, and gave yourself a black eye when you stumbled into the door." Confused, Marty asks, "So, why is everything in order and so clean, and breakfast is on
the table waiting for me?"
His son replies, "Oh that! Mom dragged you to the bedroom, and when she tried to take your pants off, you said, "Lady, leave me alone, I'm married'!"

My husband can't stand it that I'm not answering you. :-)
Really, on a scale from one to digging-loved-ones-out-of-rubble, not getting backrubs much isn't very high on my list of worries. :-) He works, goes to school full time, after 24 years of serving his country, and does much of the housework because I can't. He does rub my hands and feet when the neuropathy is bad. I'm not sure when he'd have time to give me backrubs. It was meant to be humor, 'kay?
