Amazing what gaining 20 lbs will do to your own sex drive as well as your partner's interest in you. (and vice versa). My lady cannot seem to grasp that her unwillingness to keep her weight and appearance to something reasonable (not perfect mind you) has me less interested in sex some times......

I think that one of the problems with low male sex drive might be from having an unattractive spouse. Yes, except that unattractiveness is almost always mental, not physical. After all, you married her because she was, all other things taken into account, attractive enough for you, right? Too many spouses start taking their partner for granted and so develop unattractive personality changes after marriage. This will drive him/her out of the bedroom fast.
Another point: men with performance anxiety often don't realize that they have a "backup system". Use it, and women will thank you most highly for it.

My wife doesn't look the same at 43 that she did at 23, and goodness knows that I don't look the same either. There has to be something more enduring about your love life than looks. Not that I would have believed it when I was 20, or even 30.

Possibly, but one of the wives was an exotic dancer. Thought that would be a guy's dream marriage...you know, lots of sex and wild nights.
