you know I have to maintain minis in my job, and I have come to hate those gas block screws. I always thought there was a better way to retain the gas block than those screws, which if not staked or "frozen" in place with permatex will back out. If not put in just perfect, they will invariably back out, and the accuracy goes to sh!t. Even if they are put in EXACTLY according to armorers specs , they still sometimes come out. Somebody could make a mint coming up with a barrel band/ gas block retrofit for the mini.

It's another case where I don't want to be right when I say the Mini definitely has it's problems. If they were going to copy the M-1 carbine, the least they could have done is copy all of it including the barrel band.

Someone should offer a heavy barrel and gas block combination instead of those silly heavy barrels that neck down to fit the old block.
