My point is this: Pat Buchanan ran on principle [supposedly] in the last election.

But who [except for a few freepers even remembers] that he ran, let alone what his 'principles' were.

If conservatives are going to become perpetual losers in every election, everything we stand for is lost.

There is a point where people like the Naderites and the Green Party get ignored even by the liberal Democrats. If they are content to sit on the sidelines simply throwing stones in every election, WHO DOES CARE what they think?
