To: inquest
A treaty is unconstitutional when it exceeds the scope of powers granted to the United States by the people. It has happened.

To which text do you refer? If it's the stuff I quoted, I beg to differ, but you would need to read that book to really understand why.

I'm referring to the text of the Constitution. It only speaks of the power to make treaties, without mention of any limits on that power.
