A Message from Tom: We Can Win This Election!
Dear Friends,
This election is very different in many ways. I think it is the first time in my political life that I honestly believe that the vast majority of voters "get it."
The voters know that our state has been driven into the ground by Gray Davis and the truly ultra-liberals in control of the state legislature. The voters also know the only way out is to recall Davisand replace him with someone who understands how to balance the budget, and who will not falter from balancing the budget.
During last night's debate, our "HelpTom.com" web site received over $43,000 from four thousand new supporters of "our" campaign. I say that it's our campaign because the only way I can win is because of you and every single person who is helping just like you.
We have a target figure for radio and television advertising that is $800,000 for the last week. That goal is within reach if we all stick together. We've already raised $312,531 with a few more days left in order to raise the money we need.
[Solicitation Removed] Thank you for everything.
Sincerely,
 Senator Tom McClintock
PS: There are daily rumors from the Arnold camp that I am about to drop out from this race. As I stated at the debate and to the press last night, I made a promise to you, my loyal supporters, that I was in this race to the end. That is a promise that I plan to keep. Our campaign is the one with the message and the momentum to win this race on October 7.

Please be sure to send him a thank-you note when the election is over, and Governor Bustamonte is sworn in.

He is a first class a$$H*le.
That FOOL will be like Perot and hand the election over to the Dims.

If he had any Latino supporters before the debate, he probably doesn't have any now. If a lot of Democrats decide to vote Conservative this time around, he can eaisily win the election. If he or Arnold were to drop out, those respective absentee ballots would probably favor the Democrats.

Most "Latino" voters aren't illegal aliens.

It was President Bush 41 who handed the '92 election to Clinton, by running away from conservatives. It's a bad strategy.

"My opponents say I'm the Ross Perot of this campaign, possibly siphoning off enough votes to hand the election to Democrats," he says, settling onto a shady park bench for an interview. "I say, 'Wait a minute.... Ross Perot was an idle millionaire, with no public-policy experience who one day on a whim entered the presidential race.' That sounds like another candidate in this race ... not me," he says, referring to muscleman/millionaire Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Could happen.
The only hope for California is an informed electorate that decides to to do the right thing.
Events like the debate very well could have opened lots of eyes to the reality of the situation--and in this election there is a huge reservoir of undecided votes--votes that very often go to a candidate exactly like Tom.
No way that Arnold can match the activism of an inspired and motivated conservative base, either. Money can't buy that.
Tom is the right man for the job, as even Arnold's honest supporters admit; he has the right message--the message that goes straight to the heart of the recall effort--he has the minimum amount of money he needs, and his troops are fired up.
Lots of ingredients for some big surprises for alot of people in the next week.
