The Teamsters beat up some pro-recall people here in CA recently

I saw the tape. 'beat up' is an over statement. I would say they were 'pushed around' or 'jostled with.'

Even so the thugs should not have touched them.

Most Union guys that I have known were bullies and creeps. I used to live down the street from one decent Union man. He hated the Union, but had to join and pay dues to work. He said that the Unions did hire muscle to push people or companies around. He was told to vote Democrat. He voted Republican.
