The spirit of my paternal great-grandparents, Christiana Larsen and Peder Pedersen, lives on. God bless Denmark!

AMEN, Miss Marple. My great grandparents were Larsen's as well but they were from Norway. I think it's like being a Smith over here.

The Danes: A name that struck terror in the hearts of Muslims, whose people settled Normandy, who provided the fighting men for the Crusades, who served as William the Conquerers men in the conquest of England. Who fought for the independence of Portugal, who brought stability to the Northern Meditteranean. Denmark yet survives, and I say thank God for that.

My grandson (12 yo) went with his grandparents (Hjorth) to a family reunion this summer. I printed this out to give him. He is so proud that the Danish half of his ancestry is standing strong with the USA.

I got lost in Copenhagen 2 years ago. I was on a tour bus that had stopped to view an old building. I strayed away hoping to find a diet cola. When I returned the bus was gone.
I didn't have any problem getting back to the ship, though. The people there are extremely friendly and seemed to love the USA. Only one problem. The country is very liberal, especially, sexually. It wasn't nothing to see two lesbo's making out on a park bench.
