2-3 weeks ago, I think McClintock could have written his own ticket in support from the RNC, etc. for the '06 Senate race against Boxer. Today, however, I'm not so sure. Nobody on the Republican side is going to vote for or support somebody with a bunker mentality who might very well cause Cruz Bustamante to be elected Governor in California. So unless something radical happens in the next few days, I consider McClintock's political career on the Republican side to be toast

I'm confused. Is Boxer up for re-election in '04 or '06?
