The secret is out now, thanks to Tom McClintock - the GOP can win without excessive pandering to hyperrigidity. So in the future, when GOP candidates are less receptive to hard line organizations dictating policy, y'all got Tom McClintock to thank.
Where "hyperrigidity" is defined as anything to the right of George McGovern.
So you think Kalifornia gunowners are "hyper-rigid" because they oppose Arnold who wishes to "close da loophole of da gunshows" (which doesn't even exist in Kalifornia) or who wishes to outlaw "assault weapons" evidently because they are particularly dangerous.
The present "assault weapons" laws outlaw one-third of the firearms I own. The new handgun "safety" bill will make it illegal to sell another one-third of the firearms I own in about three years.
I have absolutely no reason to believe that Arnold would not have signed the latest and greatest, new, improved handgun safety bill.
The "hyper-rigid" platform of the Republican party in Kalifornia says nothing about regulating gunshows, outlawing some rifles, dictating the redesign of handguns, or requiring the registration of firearms.
What part of "shall not be infringed" do YOU not understand? I can see that Arnold hasn't a clue and differs not a whit from anti-gun Demoncrats.
