It is time...ASK McClintock to DROP OUT of the race
McClintock website ^

Posted on 09/25/2003 10:40:28 AM PDT by Gopher Broke

McClintock is a great guy! I agree with him and if I could wave my magic wand, I would make him the Gov. of California...no questions asked.

Now, back to reality.

McClintock is running BEHIND Arnold and should DROP OUT for the good of the Republican party and for California...who cannot take any more liberal Governors!

Yes, he could stay in .... and after the election his supporters can say WE SURE SHOWED ARNOLD... as we watch Bustamonte sworn in to office.

Headline: STUPID PARTY STRIKES AGAIN

When Republicans unite, Republicans WIN. When Republicans are divided, democRATS win.

We can win this one....

"close da loophole of da gunshows"

I've asked over a dozen of Arnold's apologists what that even means. So far, none have answered.

A deal already in place between Tom and Arnold is very possible.

I agree with you on this point. Try though the media does to spin this (for the sake of controversy and ratings), the recall got a boost last night with two sane Republicans ready to take charge. Cruz' "We spent too much, it's not rocket science" condescension didn't go over well either. And NOBODY defended Davis or gave good reasons not to recall him, especially not Cruz.

President Bush, Representatives Cox, Rohracher, and Dreier, Bill Simon, and 33 of 34 GOP county chairman have endorsed Arnold Schwarzeegger -- so to you they are liberals too. Bush has not endorsed Arnold. Neither has Simon. I question the sanity of the rest of the bunch you list as they are endorsing a known liberal. Something is rotten in the CRP, that's for sure.

McClintock is running BEHIND Arnold

That doesn't matter. All that matters is whether he will win if Arnold drops out. If Arnold drops out, the RAT vote will be split between keeping Davis and electing Cruz.

Bill Simon has endorsed Prop 54, which Arnold smeared.

Would you rather that Booze Taxamante were elected?

I wouldn't vote for a ban on partial birth abortion. If we can't get it all banned, I don't want any of it banned.

Quite right. It was Bill Jones who endorsed Arnold, thought Drudge says Simon will do so shortly. President Bush's comment that Arnold would make a good Governor, days before he complimented the other Republicans then in the race, was widely and correctly taken as en endorsement by sane people.

"If you want a Democrat to win, then you are a Democrat."

Oh WHATEVER... I simply don't see why the best man for the job should be forced out.

Tim Couch has been named starter this weekend. Northcutt is questionable -- he's the game-breaking receiver.

The validity of the recall itself is also crushed unless a Republican wins. If the Dems win, why would they ever be afraid again?

Excellent point! I would rather see a saddened Davis, Cruz, Daschle, Terry, and Hillary instead of smugly triumphant ones.

Interesting logic. If you can't save all, don't save any.

Glad you're not a doc!

because the worst man for the job -- Cruz Bustamante -- would be forced in (to the Governorship. That's why.

President Bush's comment that Arnold would make a good Governor, days before he complimented the other Republicans then in the race, was widely and correctly taken as en endorsement by sane people.

Only those with vivid imaginations thought that Bush was endorsing Arnold with that simple comment.

"...I don't want a "Republican" taking the blame for the mess..."

You mean like Bush is doing for Clinton right now? I'd take my chances. I'd rather have Bush in office than Gore.
