Just wondering... If Amber Frey has reason to believe that her life may be in serious danger, and it may well be, would that be a sort of convincing argument to no longer delay the prelim? Every time they delay it, it delays her testimony and there is always a chance some hired thug could off her.

I wish! They may continue the prelim, but with him safe in jail (assuring that he'll show up for court), I can't imagine their starting what looks to be several days at least, any earlier than planned.

We have been told, or it has at least been strongly suggested, that Amber has gotten specific threats. I imagine each of those threats has spawned an investigation. I mean, I imagine they've got cops running down the source of a threatening phone call, or of a threatening note, etc. Wonder if any of the threats will really lead them to evidence in Laci's murder case.
