What is a black mass?

Something pagan. I'm not exactly sure. I'm not up on the pagan rites.

I do know that there are a lot more important problems dealt with in this document than girl altar servers. Kind of interesting that that topic gets all the press, when it started out as an abuse, was an exception that was pushed to the norm and is being put back to rights.

What is a black mass?

I don't know much about it (just more than I wish I did), but it is a "mass" celebrated to honor Satan, with the crucifix upside down, desecration of the Host, some kind of distortion of the words and other obscenities.
