And yet up until the wonderful "renewal" we always had plentiful vocations to the priesthood, the vast majority of good quality. And now most mainstream seminaries or nearly empty; and the few guys they do get treat the place like a gay bathhouse.

Groups like the Fraternity of St. Peter don't have enough room for all of the vocations they attract. The tree is known by it's fruit.

The Tridentine Mass is not the normative Mass; the Novus Ordo is.

Most bishops won't take an FSSP priest because they refuse to celebrate the Novus Ordo.

Your Fr. McLucas sounds very insecure. He just can't stand women or laymen being anywhere in the sanctuary.

That's not life in the Catholic Church in 2003. He, and you, are going to have to adjust to laymen participating in the liturgy. Or, you can go off to the Indult.
