Yeah, it would be damn shame if they were actually taught to read, write, add and subtract instead of sing.

People writing songs that voices never shared, no one dared disturb the sound of silence???? Not all songs should be sung. Sometimes silence is golden.

There's nothing wrong with kids learning to sing and play instruments in school. After all, they also have to take physical education and have opportunities to participate in sports. Some people even make their careers in sports and music. (I did - and I can also read, write, add and subtract.) The problem comes when a wannabe hippie teacher pushes her political agenda. That can happen in any class.
