" Maher told radio host Don Imus. "So, by the way, is Tom DeLay. So, by the way, are all these Christian right people who pretend to be friends of Israel."

I do not know what the un Tempeled, like Maher, are called. People who get called Christian are often the un churched and not very representive of the Church at all. Maher could not hide his joy over the bombing of the World Trade Center and it cost him but not enough.

So, by the way, are all these Christian right people who pretend to be friends of Israel.

Is it not true that some Christian churches teach that in the end times a lot of Jews will be converted and accept Jesus as Truth?

Is it also not true that some Christian churches look forward to the end times?

If I were looking at it from a Jewish point of view, I think I would be a little wary of people who support my state because they hope that Jesus will come soon and sort of eliminate the essence of my state, namely its Jewishness.

I think that the Jewish people would prefer Christian support because the Christians support the right of Israel to exist as a state and as a homeland for the Jews.

I know that I personally would hope that my friends like me for who I am - as I am - and not for who or what they can change me into. That just sounds like normal respect (as long as I'm not an ax murderer, which I'm not!)
