Perhaps those of us with free long distance can exercise our First Amendment rights and let the court know how we feel by calling them at (405)609-5000. Be sure and call frequently, preferably at mealtimes when they are short-handed.

I called and the woman that answered sounded like she was in tears. I explained politely that I was upset with the ruling and she said they had been getting calls all morning and that some of the courthouse workers had received calls at home. Some of the calls had not been "very nice." She said that was going too far. I responded that I get numerous calls all day long, and that since I worked nights, I didn't appreciate getting them during the day when I was sleeping. She said she would pass the message on the judge.
Sounds like they didn't anticipate the storm.

And remember, just as the telemarketers have found, it may take many many many calls before the recipient truly gets the message. Like the the telemarketers, do NOT stop calling, just because they said "no."

When a telemarketer calls I try to use up as much of their time as possible, then when I have thought of just about every question possible to ask the telemarketer, I tell them what VP CHeney told Senator Pat Leahy recently -
"F*** off and take my name and number off your list. On one occasion I told the caller that I needed their billing address because they had called my private line and I was forced to send them a bill for $250.00 for their call. After going through the original caller and two supervisors they said they would take me off the list. There are plenty of games you can play with them and have some fun at their expense.
