Nice, take what I say completely out of context...

This is the first time I've seen you post, I've posted thousands of times. My conservative credentials are pretty well established...

I'm certainly not swayed by his star power, but many, many uninformed independants and Dems are, and we need some of their votes as well, in a state where Dems far outnumber Reps.

Celebrity Worship? I'd respond more harshly to that accusation, but I'll try and keep my comments at a more civil level.

Without his star power, Ronald Reagan would not have been elected Governor of California.

Then you would prefer to see a conservative win a close race than a liberal win a cakewalk?

Run away, run away!

My conservative credentials are pretty well established...

You sure sound defensive, its not like you were defending a liberal or something, right? You are talking about what is best for Conservatives here.

I'm certainly not swayed by his star power, but many, many uninformed independants and Dems are

Really? Last time I checked 6% of his support comes from Dems, with a whopping 43% negative (and growing). Algore dropped out with negatives that high, and (R)nold hasn't even answered a tough question, yet.

and we need some of their votes as well, in a state where Dems far outnumber Reps.

What is this "we" stuff? Your telling Californains to support (R)nold certainly puts you against what is best for CA, and permits you from saying this "we" stuff.

This outnumber is such BS, most of the Indies are disaffected Conservatives. After all, you Know it All keep pushing liberal Republicans like Wilson and (R)nold down our throats, so we just don't turn out to vote. When their are ballots, where we don't have to trust your people, we turn out in droves, how else could all these ultra conservative initiatives passed in "liberal" California?

1994 - Proposition #184: Three-strikes, life imprisonment for repeat felons.
1994 - Proposition #187: Cut off state funds for Illegal Aliens.
1996 - Proposition #209: Ended statewide Affirmative Action
1998 - Proposition #227: Ended bilingual education
2000 - Proposition #22: Defined marriage as one man - one woman.

Not with your "help" I assure you.

Celebrity Worship? I'd respond more harshly to that accusation, but I'll try and keep my comments at a more civil level.

Why the temptation to be so uncivil? Touch a nerve?

Here, have a Coke on me with your Movie Popcorn and we'll call it even.
